Mister Rogers prepares items needed to do leather carving. Mrs. Frank shows a carved leather belt and demonstrates how the carving is done. Betty Aberlin has her hair cut and set at the Beauty Shop. Mister Rogers demonstrates how some children wear a patch on one eye or on their clothes. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri has an eye patch on and shows King Friday that his eye is still there under the patch. King Friday tries on the eye patch. Handyman Negri applies some tonic to King Friday’s hair and offers him a warm soap facial massage. Queen Sara does not recognize her husband with the lather on his face. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about how things do not go away when they are covered up. He concludes for the day by singing I Like to Be Told.
