King Friday wants an alarm clock set for 13 and 1/2 hours

Mister Rogers demonstrates an alarm clock. He makes designs with sand on the table top. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday wants a loud alarm clock to be set for 13 and 1/2 hours so that everyone knows when it’s time to come to the castle to watch his television show. Lady Elaine has one, but she is unhappy about giving it to the king because of how it will be used. King Friday instructs Handyman Negri to make sure everyone stays for the show, although the king is not going to watch. Everyone else arrives. Queen Sara tells them that the king is inside, playing his bass violin. Everyone decides that one should be able to do what one wants. King Friday insists they come back tomorrow to watch. Lady Elaine proposes that they all gather at the museum instead. She has a plan. Back with Mister Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. McFeely come over to help Mister Rogers fill his sand table.
