Mister Rogers reads a book. Ezra Jack Keats, the author of the book, visits and explains how books are printed and bound. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Elaine tells Miss Paulificate that cleaning, cooking, and answering the phone are not proper jobs for a woman. Miss Paulificate replies that she likes her work, and she is good at it. Brenda Joyce, a book editor, comes to see Grandpere about his new book. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about creating stories and sings “It’s You I Like”.
