Calling all fruits, time for an opera

Mister Rogers shows the equipment that telephone operators use. Picture Picture shows a film about what happens when someone dials the number 0 on a telephone. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Reardon is talking with King Friday on the telecan when he has the idea to make the Pineapple Can Telephone Company the focus of his opera. At the Museum-Go-Round, Lady Elaine Fairchilde has several fresh tomatoes and suggests that the opera be about the Tomato Can Telephone Company instead. Moving on to the castle, Reardon and Lady Aberlin announce to King Friday that the opera will be about pineapples and tomatoes. Back at the house, Mr. McFeely stops by with a pineapple and a tomato. After comparing the two, Mister Rogers cuts into each one to show the many ways they are different.
