Mister Rogers arrives with two tubs of ice cream and shows a film about how people make ice cream in a factory. Chef Brockett stops by singing and he and Mister Rogers makes two snowmen — one out of ice cream and another out of cupcake dough. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, everyone is preparing for the groundbreaking of Donkey Hodie’s new windmill home. Lady Aberlin practices a song for the celebration, Chef Brockett brings the “cupcake dough man” and King Friday delivers a royal speech.
Mister Rogers arrives large wooden boxes and talks about his recent visit to the White House where had the opportunity to see the President. He uses the boxes and to build his own White House as he sings You’re Growing. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Royal Coach Saunders is inside the castle where they take part in the “Chicken Fat” workout. Meanwhile, Nurse Miller is providing yearly check-ups in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. At the tree, she examines X the Owl and Donkey Hodie. Back at the house, Mister Rogers talks about some of the things that happen during a doctor check-up.
Mister Rogers tries on different eye glasses and shows a film about how eye glasses are made.Mr. McFeely stops by with a delivery for Henrietta Pussycat which Mister Rogers delivers by way of the Neighborhood Trolley. In Make-Believe, Nurse Miller opens the package to find a pair of blue eye glasses for Henrietta Pussycat. With her new glasses on, Henrietta passes her eye exam with flying colors. At the Factory, Nurse Miller schedules an eye examination. for Corney. The day concludes with a visit from Scott, a young friend with a pet raccoon named Willie.
Mister Rogers shows various eye charts designed for people of different ages. Then he goes to an see his eye doctor, optometrist Dr. Mallinger. He has his eyes examined and listens as Dr. Mallinger explains the different parts of the exam. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri is preparing to install the arms on Donkey Hodie’s new windmill when construction comes to a halt. After seeing the size of the windmill’s arms, King Friday decides that the windmill will be too big behind the castle and take away from his castle’s beauty. The King orders that a new location be found “someplace else.” Back at the house, Mister Rogers shows images of different places where people live.
Mister Rogers transplants a houseplant to a new pot and talks about that when people move, there can lots of different feelings. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Woody Straub is showing King Friday some pieces of antique furniture and fixes a broken chair. X the Owl and Henrietta Pussycat join Lady Aberlin on a visit to deliver housewarming gifts to Donkey Hodie who has found his new home in Someplace Else, where Mr. McFeely has just finished putting the final touches on Donkey Hodie’s windmill. He graciously accepts the gifts from his Neighborhood friends including a rocking chair from Corney, a portrait of King Friday, and a song sung by X and Lady Aberlin.
