Mister Rogers washes his kitchen floor. Mr. McFeely delivers a free sample of liquid detergent and shows Mister Rogers how to blow bubbles with it. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. McFeely gives out samples of the detergent. Lady Aberlin and Daniel blow bubbles together and talk about King Friday and Sara Saturday. Daniel wonders if they plan to marry. After the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mister Rogers moves the furniture back into the kitchen. He has a snack of custard and milk. He says parents help each other because they care about each other. Children help in many ways, too.
Mister Rogers brings several different kinds of shoes. He tries some of them on and talks about them. Handyman Negri stops in to see if there is a problem with Mister Rogers’ telecan because Miss Paulificate has been unsuccessfully trying to reach him from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe all morning. A light bulb has to be replaced in the signal so that Mister Rogers will know a call is coming in. Mister Rogers is being invited to see some children dancing. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Norma Canner and her students dance for King Friday.
Mister Rogers brings some stones and talks about how each is different. The Farnums visit and demonstrate how stones are cut and polished for jewelry. After the Farnums leave Mr. Anybody arrives. He decides to be a stone-smith today. He leaves to get some stones from the Farnums to take to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the neighbors are happy to see Mr. Anybody again. He gives stones to Daniel and to Mrs. Frogg. X and Henrietta are on a picnic, so he leaves stones as a surprise for them. King Friday gives Sara Saturday her choice of stones. The king chooses one and then asks Mr. Anybody to mount them similarly as rings.
Mister Rogers brings a small mop for washing glasses. After feeding his fish he washes some dishes. William Barker stops by in Highland dress with his bagpipes. Mister Rogers tries to play the bagpipes and finds it very difficult. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Mr. Anybody is a Scotsman with a Scottish terrier named Mac. It is Scotland day in the neighborhood. In the S room of the castle Mr. Barker pipes for Sara Saturday and King Friday XIII. Other pipers and dancers then perform.
Mister Rogers shows how a grocer’s scale is used to weigh produce. Mr. McFeely delivers a scale like those found in doctors’ offices. He and Mister Rogers take turns, each weighing the other. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Nurse Miller is giving physical examinations. She reports her findings to Dr. Frogg. Sara Saturday and King Friday are in good health. They have both gained some weight, however, presumably from the corn bread they have been eating. Lady Elaine Fairchilde is afraid that getting weighed and measured will hurt, so she hides. After she turns King Friday upside down, he suggests that she is upsetting others because she is upset herself. He wants to hold her to force her to be weighed and measured. Nurse Miller says it will be better if she agrees to the examination. Lady Elaine allows herself to be weighed and measured because Nurse Miller agrees to stop anytime Lady Elaine wishes. The whole exam is completed and Lady Elaine is very proud.
