In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Dr. Marchl gets opinions from Corny, Mrs. Frogg, and Lady Aberlin. Lady Aberlin is trying to cheer up King Friday, who has been missing Sara Saturday.. Lady Aberlin takes a cup custard and a doll to King Friday to cheer him up.
Mister Rogers brings in an amplifier for an electric guitar. He explains the meaning of the word teenager by playing a counting game. Johnny Lively demonstrates his electric guitar. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin has arranged for several teenagers to entertain King Friday.
Mister Rogers watches “Pink Paws” the a cat for Mister McFeely. Mister Rogers also plays “The Alphabet Song” from his “Let’s Be Together Today” album. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Handyman Negri has a notebook in which he records objects and puppets under the appropriate letter of the alphabet. King Friday suggests he write “Sara Saturday” on the “S” page and then asks him to find a way to communicate with her.
Mister Rogers makes a telephone from a paper box. He calls the Neighborhood of Make-Believe on the telecan. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, the communications arranger, Margie King, is making suggestions on how to get in touch with Sara Saturday. In the E room of the castle King Friday is exercising with Coach Saunders. Miss King finds Sara Saturday’s telephone number with a bubble-number finder. She calls Sara Saturday on the telephone. King Friday invites Sara Saturday to arrange a visit. Sara Saturday invites the king and Edgar Cooke to visit her at her home.
Mister Rogers brings a hard hat, boots, tools, gloves, and telephone pole climbers. He shows a film of a man climbing up and down a telephone pole on Picture-Picture. A telephone repairman visits and shows the inside of a telephone. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday is reluctant to leave the Neighborhood of Make-Believe to visit Sara Saturday. After some persuasion from the neighbors, King Friday XIII decides that he and Edgar Cooke will visit Sara Saturday and stay at her house for the weekend.
