Sara Saturday hosts a dance recital at the castle where the dancers dance to the stories told by Donkey Hodie and King Friday, and Sara Saturday.
Mister Rogers brings plant food and talks about how plants and people grow. Judy Ruben shows crafts that kids made with recycled containers. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Handyman Negri start a campaign against littering and they learn that everyone is interested in cleaning up the environment.
Mister Rogers shows how boxes of different sizes can be useful. Chef Brockett bakes different sized rainbow cookies. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin and Daniel about putting litter in a litter basket. Chef Brockett gives out cookies to Lady Aberlin and Daniel. Lady Elaine is upset that she didn’t get a cookie, so she starts throwing litter around in protest. As punishment she has to wear a “litterbug hat”. She promises to clean up the litter up after helping to deliver cookies to everyone else.
Mister Rogers washes and irons some laundry. Mr. McFeely visits and enjoys a glass of orange juice and a cookie. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday receives an award from the Committee for World Cleanup in honor of his work of his clean-up campaign. Vija Vetra dances for King Friday XIII.
Mister Rogers shows some thermometers and demonstrates how an oral thermometer is used. He talks about not feeling well. Emilie Jacobson has a poem about returning home. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin is dressed up in a costume to look like X the Owl. Daniel guesses who is in the costume and suggests that Lady Aberlin stay in costume so that Miss Emilie will think that X has grown. Everyone welcomes back Miss Emilie, who has been ill for some time.
