Mister Rogers enters carrying a box and a book; inside the box is a computer mouse. Mister Rogers explains what a computer mouse is and hooks the mouse up to his computer. Then he goes to the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood website on his computer and navigates around the site to show how it works (Editor’s note: this website is no longer available). He says that a person’s imagination is more wonderful than the computer. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Queen Sara are looking for the royal mouse; King Friday tells Mayor Maggie that she may begin searching for the mouse. Mayor Maggie is not sure what the royal mouse looks like, and she decides to ask Henrietta to help her since Henrietta is a pussycat. Mr. Aber arrives with a box of ‘clickers’ for the Mayor and suggests that maybe the royal mouse is a computer mouse. He and the Mayor decide to look for the mouse in different places. Lady Elaine hears ‘noise’ and comes out; Mr. Aber tells her what has been going on, and Lady Elaine calls the royal mouse “H.M.” and “Hula Mouse” and says that the mouse is safe. Back in Mister Rogers’ house Mr. McFeely arrives with a video called ‘How to Reconstruct a Computer Mouse.’ As he and Mister Rogers watch the video, Mr. McFeely explains the procedure. Mr. McFeely and Mister Rogers go to the computer room and Mr. McFeely navigates the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood website. Mr. McFeely then says he has a ‘surprise funny fast’ film to show to Mister Rogers; the film is ‘Mr. McFeely Mowing the Lawn Quickly.’
Mister Rogers enters carrying drawings of Hula Mouse (H.M.) that were done by children. Mister Rogers reads ‘When the T.V. Broke’ to us and explains what the illustrations show. Mister Rogers visits Joyce Broadhus at the neighborhood library and returns ‘When the T.V. Broke.’ Joyce shows Mister Rogers another book called ‘I Heard a Little “Baa”‘; Mister Rogers checks the book out and goes back to his house. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday says that Miss Paulificate must call ‘every person in the world’ to tell them that the Royal Hula Mouse (H.M.) has been gone too long and that he must return to the castle; Mr. Aber is to help Miss Paulificate find H.M. Mr. Aber spots H.M. at the Museum-Go-Round with Lady Elaine; H.M. is hula hooping and he and Lady Elaine are talking about a ‘big round surprise.’ When Mr. Aber gets there, he tells H.M. that he must go back to the castle; when they get to the castle, Edgar Cooke says that King Friday has been looking everywhere for H.M. Mr. Aber says that King Friday needs to know that H.M. is back; Miss Paulificate calls King Friday. Back at the house, Mister Rogers says that toys should always be put back after playing. Mister Rogers reads ‘I Heard a Little “Baa”‘; it is a rhyme book about finding animals.
Mister Rogers enters carrying a video and an ‘old homemade toy.’ The toy is a ‘ball machine’ and Mister Rogers shows us how it works. Mister Rogers plays a video of children watching a large ball machine working. Then, he visits George Rhoads, the artist that creates ball machines of all sizes. Mister Rogers returns the video to George. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin shows Prince Tuesday a toy that a friend gave her; it has parts that move in the wind or if someone blows on it. King Friday lands in the castle in a parachute; he has been looking for Hula Mouse (H.M.) all over the world. H.M. is sighted at the Museum-Go-Round with Lady Elaine; Lady Aberlin goes over and shows H.M. and Lady Elaine her toy, and H.M. goes back to the castle with her. Lady Elaine arrives at the castle, and she and King Friday argue over H.M. Lady Aberlin hands King Friday her toy and he throws it on the ground and says, “Balderdash! My rules are my rules!” and goes quickly into the castle. Lady Aberlin picks up her toy which is now broken; she is very upset, and everyone is shocked. Prince Tuesday comes out of the castle and Lady Elaine tells him what has just happened. Prince Tuesday offers to help Lady Aberlin fix her toy. Back at the house, Mister Rogers feeds the fish and asks the viewer about anger and ‘fish feelings.’ Mr. McFeely arrives on his bike with a ‘catch game’, and he and Mister Rogers play the game outside the house.
Mister Rogers enters carrying a violin case; it contains a ukelele with a broken string. Joe Negri stops by to fix the ukelele and stays at Mister Rogers’ house to make the repairs so that we can see how it is done. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday talks to Trolley about apologizing to Lady Aberlin for breaking her toy. Handyman Negri arrives; he has mostly fixed Lady Aberlin’s toy. Lady Aberlin arrives carrying a round piece of wood on a stick; King Friday tells her that her toy is fixed, and she thanks him. As the king starts to leave, Lady Aberlin tells him that he hurt her feelings and those of Hula Mouse and Lady Elaine as well; King Friday makes a new rule that everyone who had hurt feelings will now have good feelings. Lady Aberlin says that you cannot order someone to feel a certain way. King Friday leaves, but then comes back and apologizes to Lady Aberlin. Lady Aberlin goes to Daniel’s clock where Daniel decorates the round wood, then she goes to the Museum-Go-Round to give Lady Elaine the round. Lady Aberlin, Handyman Negri and Lady Elaine talk about King Friday’s apology. Back in Mister Rogers’ house Mister Rogers feeds the fish. Marilyn Barnett arrives, and Mister Rogers goes outside with her to do some exercises. Marilyn leaves and Mr. McFeely arrives with a video called ‘How People Make Bread.’ As he and Mister Rogers watch the video, Mr. McFeely explains the bread-making process. Mister Rogers says that people can love you just as you are and that love just keeps growing.
After Mister Rogers enters and gets settled, Laurie Tarter calls to invite him to the neighborhood dance studio. We go there and watch children dance, and then the children act out a story as Laurie tells it. Mister Rogers and the children watch as Laurie and other adult dancers rehearse a dance. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday and Hula Mouse are at the castle; Prince Tuesday is hula hooping. When King Friday arrives, Prince Tuesday goes inside, and King Friday apologizes to H.M. for the way he acted when he threw Lady Aberlin’s toy. King Friday decides he will attend the round celebration, and the round item he will take will be his crown. H.M. has a large hula hoop, a small hula hoop, and a square toy; he gives his large hula hoop to Mayor Maggie to take to the round celebration. H.M., Prince Tuesday, and King Friday go to the Museum-Go-Round where Lady Elaine is wearing an outfit that has round decorations all over it; the Museum-Go-Round is completely adorned with shiny, round, colorful decorations. King Friday apologizes to Lady Elaine for his behavior on the day he got angry. Back in Mister Rogers’ house, Mister Rogers feeds the fish. Mr. McFeely arrives with a video called ‘How people make marbles.’ As he and Mister Rogers watch the video, Mr. McFeely explains the marble-making process.
