Mister Rogers looks at himself in the bathroom mirror and talks about how everyone is unique. He goes to Maggie Stewart’s house to make bread pudding with Chef Brockett. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday confesses to Chef Brockett that he doesn’t like what he sees when he looks in the mirror. King Friday enjoys seeing his own reflection. Chef Brockett makes a sketch of Corney’s birthday cake, which Robert Troll takes to the factory, mistakenly believing it is Corney’s drawing. Mister Rogers shows a video about how people make dinner plates.
Mister Rogers shows a photo album of twins. He explains that although they might look alike, each one is special. Mr. McFeely shows up with a pair of wooden shoes for Mister Rogers and they watch a video together entitled “How People Make Wooden Shoes.” Later, Marilyn Barnett stops by with two of her students, Meghan and Kelly Fillnow, who are twins. They perform exercises together. Mister Rogers reads the book “Friends in the Park.” In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, King Friday and Robert Troll discuss how Prince Tuesday does not like his appearance. Chuck Aber and Robert Troll sing “Then Your Heart is Full of Love.” Queen Sara Saturday tells Robert Troll that the drawing of Cornflake’s surprise cake is missing and he returns it.
Mister Rogers reads a book entitled “Animal Time” while Joe Negri plays accompanying music on his guitar. They sing “Look and Listen” together. Later, Mr. McFeely brings over the video “How People Make Guitars.” Mister Rogers shows a cardboard guitar that he made. He pretends he is playing the guitar and sings “This is Just the Day.” In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Lady Aberlin is dressed up in a lion costume. King Friday asks Lady Aberlin to comfort Prince Tuesday because he is sad. Handyman Negri is looking for Prince Tuesday because it is time for his guitar lesson. X the Owl tells Lady Aberlin that Tuesday is not happy because he always has to wear a royal cape. Tuesday reveals that he has stopped playing the guitar because his cape keeps getting in the way.
Mister Rogers shows some of the puppets from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe and makes their voices. Mister Rogers invites Lenny Meledandri to come over to do Prince Tuesday’s voice. Mister Rogers makes the puppets out of plastic spoons, crayons, and ribbons. Lenny visits and makes Tuesday’s voice. He even makes Tuesday speak Italian. Later, Mister Rogers explains that Cornflake was feeling left out because he thinks no one remembers his birthday. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Queen Sara Saturday and Mayor Maggie plan for Cornflake S. Pecially’s surprise party. Mayor Maggie asks Cornflake why he has a question mark on his factory and he replies that he is wondering what people do on their birthdays. Mr. Aber finds Tuesday’s cape on the ground and Tuesday admits that he put it there on purpose. Mr. Aber explains that everyone likes Tuesday for who he is on the inside and then they play hide-and-seek.
Mister Rogers shows a kazoo and makes a party hat out of construction paper. Mr. McFeely shows up with a video entitled “How People Make Kazoos.” Later, Mister Rogers says that Cornflake did not want to hide anymore after he heard how much Tuesday and Daniel love him and think he is special. Mr. McFeely and Eric Kloss visit and Eric plays some music on flutes. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Prince Tuesday tells Lady Aberlin and Queen Sara Saturday that he is happy now that he realizes everyone likes him for who he is inside. Mr. Aber goes to fetch Cornflake for his surprise party but he says he is hiding since no one remembered his birthday. Cornflake finally appears when he hears Lady Elaine read Daniel and Tuesday’s homemade birthday card outloud.
